JPSC Announces Revised Eligibility Criteria for 2025 Examination
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the revised eligibility criteria for the JPSC 2025 Civil Services Examination, making it important for aspirants to revisit their eligibility and application requirements before submitting their forms.
The key update includes a relaxation in the upper age limit for female candidates and scheduled tribe applicants, providing a much-needed advantage for these groups. Additionally, candidates with a graduate degree in agriculture, engineering, or public administration will now be eligible to apply for all optional subjects in the examination, providing more flexibility in subject choices for many aspirants.
Other important updates:
-
Minimum educational qualification remains a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
-
A new criterion for work experience: candidates who have at least 2 years of work experience in public administration will now be awarded additional marks in the interview stage.
These changes are aimed at increasing diversity in the civil services and offering better opportunities for aspirants from various backgrounds. Candidates are encouraged to review the official JPSC 2025 notification and update their profiles accordingly.
